Norvic Hospital bags Bizz Award

Kathmandu, November 15

Norvic International Hospital, Thapathali, has bagged Bizz Award 2018. It is a recognition provided by the USA-based World Confederation of Businesses.

The award will be handed over to the hospital by Director of International Relations of World Confederation of Businesses Nicolas Caffaro amidst a function tomorrow.

Founded in Huston Texas in 2004, World Confederation of Businesses works to promote businesses in five continents across the world. It recognises advancing industries and works to boost the growth of such businesses.

Talking to THT, Caffaro, who arrived in Kathmandu today, said, “WORLDCOB can be best understood like a chamber of commerce. It has above 3,000 member organisations representing more than 130 countries.”

World Confederation of Businesses especially looks for revenue the company has gained, the quality of service and the product it provides to its customers, the process of providing services, employees’ job satisfaction level and Corporate Social Responsibility it undertakes, among others things, while selecting it for the award, he added.

Caffaro said Bizz Award not only gave the award recipients global recognition but also benefited them with various kinds of support and training.

A total of 52 companies from 30 various countries have been provided the Bizz Award this year. Along with Norvic Hospital, WORLDCOB had also selected ITECO

Nepal Pvt Ltd, an engineering consulting company, for the award, which was founded in 1987.

The ITECO Nepal received the award during ‘Africa-Middle east and Asia event 2018’ held by the World Confederation of Businesses in Hong Kong yesterday.

Established in 1994, Norvic Hospital is a multi-specialty surgery care hospital. Deputy General Manager of Norvic Hospital RP Mainali said, “Availability of world class specialist doctors and state-of-the-art  medical technology have made us one of the most trusted hospital not only among Nepalis but also foreigners.”

Norvic is also the first hospital in the country to receive an ISO award.
