Kathmandu:

The Special Court on Wednesday adjourned a corruption case against Nepal Rasta Bank governor Bijaya Nath Bhattarai and executive director Surendra Man Pradhan. The court has rescheduled the case for January 13 after NRB failed to verify the letter of KPMG Sri Lanka as per its order. NRB told the court that it had been trying to verify the document.

Judges Bhoopdhoj Adhikary and Komal Nath Sharma set the new hearing date. On December 28, the Special Court had directed the NRB to verify the letter within three days and had rescheduled the next hearing date.
