KATHMANDU: Nepal Students Union (NSU) chair Nain Singh Mahar has resigned from his post.

According to NC central member Ram Krishna Yadav, chair Mahar submitted his resignation to the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba. President Deuba approved Mahar’s resignation today and thanked him for fulfilling his responsibilities as the NSU Chair.

NSU is a sister organization of the opposition Nepali Congress party.
