KATHMANDU: A man was killed and another injured when a truck bearing Indian registration number hit a motorcycle at Dhungeadda, Chandragiri Municipality-23 on Sunday. The identity of the deceased, who was riding pillion, has yet to be ascertained. He died while undergoing treatment at Kalanki-based City Centre Hospital. Bikram Dhwaj Thapa (31) of Matatirtha, the rider, has sustained injuries. According to police, break failure of the truck , which was carrying vegetables, caused the tragedy. The truck also hit an electricity pole and skidded off the road. The truck driver was also injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment at the Neelam Hospital, Balambu.
