KATHMANDU: A team of police arrested a man in possession of one kilogram hashish from Thamel of Kathmandu on Thursday.

The arrestee has been identified as Suman Chhetri (36) of Bafal in KMC-13.

Acting on tip-off, a team of law enforcers had raided the Handicraft Trade Centre at Satghumti, Thamel in KMC-29, to find the contraband, informed police.

Meanwhile, Sorhakhutte-based Metropolitan Police Circle, Lainchaur is doing further investigation into the case, informed police.
