KATHMANDU:  Police on Saturday arrested a man in possession of 150 gram undeclared gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

The suspect has been identified as Ram Sharan Khatri of Majhphat, Parbat.

He had arrived Kathmandu from Malaysia boarding an Air Asia’s flight.

Police took Khatri in custody after finding undeclared gold -- three bangles -- in his possession during a security check.

Police are looking into the case.
