KATHMANDU: Police arrested a man with possession of fake Nepali notes on Sunday.

The suspect has been identified as Shree Krishna Shrestha (31) of Kasikhand Municipality-4, Kavre and currently residing at Boharatar of Balaju.

Police said that Shrestha was nabbed with fake notes of Rs 11,000 from the Laxminagar-based Pokhara Taal Barahi Guest House in Tokha Municipality-13.

The notes were in the denomination of Rs 1,000, police informed.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
