One held for torching manpower agency
KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man on charge of setting a manpower agency on fire in Sinamangal on Monday.
The suspect has been identified as Som Nath Nepal (23) of Pathariya, Morang and currently residing in Bhaktapur.
He torched the Sinmangal-based Mantesh Manpower Agency by sprinkling petrol , police said.
Nepal resorted to arson attack after the manpower agency failed to fulfill its promise to send him to a foreign country.
Police said that four persons including Keshav Panta (24) of Koteshwor were injured in the fire.
They are receiving treatment at the Nobel Hospital in Sinamangal.
Properties worth around Rs 300,000 of the manpower agency were reduced to ashes in the fire, police informed.
The flame was contained with the help of locals and police personnel.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
