PABSON to probe Sunsari mishap
Kathmandu, May 10:
Private and Boarding Schools’ Organisation Nepal (PABSON) today formed a seven-member committee to probe into the death of 13 schoolchildren in a tempo accident in Sunsari yesterday.
The schoolchildren were killed when a three-wheeler plunged into the Chatara canal. Issuing a statement, the PABSON appealed to all member schools to hoist the flag at half-mast and halt academic activities tomorrow in memory of the deceased schoolchildren.
The probe committee comprises former eastern region vice-chairman of the PABSON, Khagendra Pandey, vice-chairman Dil Kumar Ban, central member Keshablal Singh Suwal, chairman of the PABSON district working committee, Sunsari, Shankar Thapa, and representatives of the civil society, Sunsari District Education Office and guardians.
