KATHMANDU: A painter died after falling off the third-floor of a building in Balaju of KMC on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Yekbal Aalam (17) from Bettiah of India, currently living in Mitranagar of KMC-29.

Police said Aalam was critically injured after falling off the house of Keshav Sthapit and breathed his last while receiving treatment at Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).
