The Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Abrar H Hashmi paid a courtesy call on newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
During the meeting, Ambassador Hashmi congratulated the Minister Shrestha on assuming the office of the Foreign Minister of Nepal. The Ambassador also conveyed felicitations on behalf of Foreign Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Ishaq Dar and the people of Pakistan to DPM/FM, according to the statement issued by the Emabassy of Pakistan on Thursday.
In the meeting Foreign Minister Shrestha expressed his gratitude for the felicitation messages, and expressed his commitment to further enhance the cordial bilateral relations existing between the two friendly countries, the statement added.
Ambassador Abrar H Hashmi discussed with Minister Shrestha full spectrum of bilateral relations, need for enhanced engagement in diverse fields; revival of existing mechanism, exchanges between leadership, particularly youth, sports and businessmen and cooperation in regional and international organizations, it said.
