Palpasa’s collection of lyrical poems released

Senior poet Dr Durga Lal Shrestha today released Parivesh Ra Patharu, a collection of Nepali lyrical poems written by emerging lyricist Palpasa, at a function here today.
In his inaugural address, Shrestha said he found the lyrical poems livelier than
the ones written by most other litterateurs. Popular lyricist Dinesh Adhikary said while there are lots of absurd lyrical poems found in the Nepali literary market the lyrics of Palpasa are sterling in quality. “Her poems are a blend of love and nature,” he commented, adding that Palpasa has tried to add the beats of folklore to her creations.
Speaking about her first collection, lyricist Palpasa said the poems are only a reflection of circumstances drawn from the life that she is living. She said some 500 copies of her book were donated towards the welfare of Nisahaya Sewa Sadan, a forum serving helpless people.
