Pandit admitted to hospital

KATHMANDU: Former General Administration Minister and CPN-UML leader Lalbabu Pandit was admitted to the Civil Service Hospital on Sunday evening for high blood pressure and diabetes, said leader Pandit's aide Osim Alam.

He informed that a team of doctors led by Dr Bimal Thapa have been monitoring leader Pandit's health.

Aide Alam further informed that leader Pandit was suffering from eye problem as well and he would stay at the hospital for a week for eye surgery.

He would undergo the surgery after his blood pressure and diabetes came into normalcy, he informed.
