KATHMANDU: A youth was killed after a passenger bus rammed a motorbike in front of the Kalanki temple in KMC on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Abhisekh Ghimire, a native of Nuwakot.

The passenger bus (Ba 4 Kha 2713) rammed the ill-fated motorcycle (Ba 63 Pa 3534) inflicting fatal injuries on 22- year–old today.

The youth died during the course of treatment at the Bir Hosital, according to Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD).

Meanwhile, police have detained the bus driver and launched further investigation into the incident.
