BHAKTAPUR: A taxi driver and his friend on Monday night looted cash and valuables worth Rs 55,000 from Khil Prasad Gautam of Banepa, Kavre at Bode of Bhaktapur. According to police, Gautam hired a taxi from Thamel to go to Banepa. The taxi driver was accompanied by his friend, police said. “When the taxi reached at Bode of Bhaktapur, the taxi driver stopped the taxi and got off the taxi. His friend showed a khukuri and asked for all the money that I was carrying and I gave them all the money,” Gautam told police.
