Paudel draws PM’s attention to national problems
Kathmandu, April 18
Nepali Congress leader Ramchandra Paudel today drew Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s attention to the government’s lack of seriousness in implementing the new constitution and addressing the problems people are facing in their daily lives.
In a meeting held at Oli’s official residence in Baluwatar, Paudel, according to the latter’s personal secretary Chiranjibi Adhikari, expressed discontent with the slow pace of commissions and other government functionaries in the process of implementing the new constitution.
Paudel also urged Oli to end the black-marketing and scarcity of cooking gas and other consumer items and work effectively to address the plight of earthquake victims.
He insisted that the PM hold meaningful talks with the Madhes-based parties and find solutions to their concerns at the earliest.
The duo discussed issues related to implementation of the constitution and contemporary political issues, according to Oli’s press adviser Pramod Dahal.
Paudel had met Unified CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal yesterday with the same agendas.
