In a significant move aimed at revolutionizing education and English language proficiency assessments in Nepal, Pearson PTE and the Education Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) have signed a transformative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This strategic alliance is poised to offer substantial benefits to Nepali students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad by promoting the Pearson Test of English (PTE).

The collaboration promises to bring about considerable improvements for both students and education consultancies. Under the MoU, ECAN-affiliated consultancies will receive extensive training and resources, enhancing their capability to guide students in their test preparation.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by esteemed ECAN members, including Prakash Pandey, ECAN Immediate Past President; Geeta Siwakoti, 3rd Vice President; Deepak Bhusal, Secretary General; Ratna Bahadur Bhattrai, 2nd Secretary; Ashik Karki, Treasurer; Bikalp Raj Pokharel, Joint Treasurer; and Executive Members Uma Kumar Pathak and Vijay Kumar Basnet, alongside all ECAN members.

This partnership will pave the way for future collaborative events, workshops, and training sessions, further solidifying the commitment of both organizations to improving English language proficiency among Nepalese students.
