KATHMANDU: A pedestrian, who was rushed to a hospital after being critically injured in a bus hit incident, succumbed to injuries during treatment on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Dhruba Prasad Barsaula (45) of Gairigaun, Kathmandu.

According to police, Barsaula was hit by the bus (Na 5 Kha 5158) in Sano Bharyang, Swayambhu, at around 7:30 pm yesterday

He breathed his last during treatment at the Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Swayambhu.

The Metropolitan Police Circle, Swayambhu, has impounded the four-wheeler and arrested its driver for further investigation.
