Here is an idea to recycle a plastic bottle and make pretty bangles out of it. It is very easy to make but you need to be very careful. Make sure you ask adults to help you use an iron. Do not forget to unplug the iron after use.

You will need

•    Plastic bottle

•    Electric tape

•    A pair of scissors or knife

•    An electric iron

•    Nail polish or acrylic paint (in different colours)

Instructions

1. Find a plastic bottle that is a little larger than your wrist size. Wash the bottle and let it dry completely.

2. Take an electric tape and wrap around the plain surface of the bottle for an outline to cut the ring. Decide the width of the bangle you want and wrap another circle of tape around the bottle if needed.

3. Cut out the plastic ring according to the wrapped tape using scissors or knife.

4. Remove the tape from the plastic ring.

5. First set the iron on medium heat. Be careful and gently press the edge of plastic ring on the iron, moving it in a circular motion. Do it until the edge melts and curls inwards forming a rounded edge. It will protect your hand from sharp edges. After you finish, keep the iron aside in a safe place.

6. Use colourful nail polish or acrylic paints to decorate your bangle. Think of a design and paint the inside of the bangle. Let the paint dry. And the bangle is ready for you to wear.
