PM addresses parliament
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal in the Legislature Parliament on Tuesday said that the government had no plans to import any weapons from India during the visit of Defence Minister Bidya Bhandari.
He also said that the government was committed to the peace process. Responding to the lawmakers queries on the government’s action against the diarrhoea epidemic in different western districts, the PM said that the government was preparing a package for the prevention and cure of the disease. He also said that the government had already announced the relief package for the diarrhoea-hit victims.
The contents of the Prime Minister address was decided by the three big parties in a meeting held at the PM’s office in Singha Durbar.
