PM Dahal vows to address labourers’ issues

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pusha Kamal Dahal on Saturday expressed his commitment to address the issues of labourers.

Talking to a team of representatives from the All Nepal Trade Union Federation at Baluwatar in the Capital this morning, PM Dahal reiterated that the incumbent government would leave no stone unturned to resolve the problems of labourers and farmers.

During the meeting, Federation Chairman Shalikram Jammarkattel drew the attention of Prime Minister saying that the Industrial Enterprises Act was not in favour of the labourers.

Jammarkattel urged the Prime Minister to incorporate National Labourer Commission in the Constitution, ensure proportional inclusiveness for the labourers and resolve the issues of transportation labourers.

Moreover, the visiting team also urged PM Dahal to regulate E-rickshaw and ensure equal facilities to the employees working on a contract basis on par with the permanent government staff.
