Sita Dahal, the wife of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has passed away. She was 69.
She breathed her last at Norvic International Hospital this morning at 8:33 am, according to the PM's personal Physician, Prof. Dr. Yuvaraj Sharma.
Sita Dahal had been suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Parkinsonism, Diabetes Mellitus-II, and Hypertension for a long time, which had severely affected her health.
She was rushed to the hospital after her health deteriorated and was put under (on/of) Domicillary oxygen with PEG feeding and indwelling catheter when she went into cardiac arrest at 8:00 am today morning.
Despite attempted resuscitaion, she could not be revived, informed Dr Sharma. It has been learnt that her final rites will be performed today itself.
