PM inaugurates Hospital

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal inaugurated Civil Service Hospital at Baneshwor, Kathmandu on Saturday morning.The 132-bed hospital was constructed under Chinese assistance at a cost of almost 60 crore rupees.

Speaking at the Inauguration programme, Prime Minister said his government would strengthen Nepal-China relations. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Qiu Guohong who was also present on the occassion said that China would continue economic and technical support to Nepal in comming days.

After the inauguration, Prime Minister also visited the hospital and acquired the information about existing

existingfacilities and services in the hospital. The gazetted-officers will get 40 percent concession on service cost in the hospital whereas government pensioners, non-gazetted officers and their families will receive a 50 percent discount.
