Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appointed Bishal Bhattarai as the Chief Whip of NCP's Parliamentary Party.

I was not given chance to fulfil promises made to people, says Prime Minister Oli

Surya Thapa, press advisor to the Prime Minister, confirmed that Bhattarai has been chosen for the position.

Bhattarai replaced Dev Gurung as the chief whip of the governing party, on Friday.

Newly appointed chief whip Bhattarai was elected to the House of Representatives in the last general elections from Khotang district.
