PM Oli discharged from TUTH on the 10th day of appendectomy

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has today been discharged from the Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).

Prime Minister Oli's newly appointed Press Advisor Surya Thapa said the former has fully recovered and would be discharged at 3:00 pm.

PM Oli underwent appendectomy at the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre, TUTH on November 26 following complaints of abdominal pain, among other health issues, which was apparently due to an appendix rupture.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari had visited the Prime Minister today at the hospital to take stock of his health.
