PM Oli faring better: TUTH, MCVTC

KATHMANDU: The Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre (MCVTC) at the TU teaching Hospital has stated that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who was admitted to the facilities on Monday for treatment, is now doing better.

Issuing a statement at 10:00 am today, the Managing Director at the MCVTC, Uttam Krishna Shrestha said that PM Oli's blood tests, chest X-Ray and other reports have come out well and there is a gradual improvement in his health.

A team led by Prof Dr Arun Sayami and comprising Prof Dr Divya Singh Shah and Dr Santa Kumar Das is looking after PM Oli's health, according to the statement.

The Prime Minister was rushed to TUTH on Monday morning after he experienced some unease in the chest. It was reported that he contracted infection in his lungs while his blood-sugar levels were high.
