PM Oli induced as Patron of Nepal Scouts

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was induced as the Patron of the Nepal Scouts by Chief Commissioner Rabindra Dahal during an investiture ceremony organised at its headquarters in Lainchaur, Kathmandu on Tuesday.

On the occassion, PM Oli lauded the contributions made by the Scouts after the massive earthquake struck Nepal on April 25. He also assured them to help from the government to impart the Scout training in community schools.

Minister for Youth and Sports Satya Narayan Mandal, also present at the ceremony, seconded PM Oli's commitment in expanding the Scout training to the community schools.
