PM Oli's dissolution of HoR unconstitutional and undemocratic, concludes three-party meet

KATHMANDU: Three parties including Nepali Congress (NC), Nepal Communist Party (NCP), and Janata Samajwadi Party, which represent the dissolved House of Representatives (HoR), amid a meeting today, have called PM Oli's move unconstitutional and undemocratic.

In an all-party meeting summoned by the NC at its Sanepa-based central office, a conclusion was reached in presence of top leaders to collectively protest against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's 'autocratic' decision of dismantling Nepal's lower house, this evening.

NC's Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel was quoted in Rastriya Samachar Samiti as saying, "In the meeting, discussions were held to forge strategies for further actions. Moreover, plans that need to be discussed at each of the party's' central working committee meeting were also discussed."

It has been learnt that the meeting was attended by top leaders of the three parties including NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, NCP's co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, senior leaders Jhalanath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Mahanta Thakur, among others.
