KATHMANDU: The Inter-Party Women's Alliance (IPWA) has submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal urging him to ensure one third share of the Cabinet for women.

The IPWA had reached the PM's official residence in Baluwatar today to press Dahal for the inclusive government.

In response to the IPWA delegation, PM Dahal shared that it was him who had taken the initiative to elect women to the posts of President and Speaker and therefore would ensure equal participation of women in each government body as well, said Alliance Vice-Chair Sabitra Bhusal.

Currently, Dahal is leading an all-male nine-member Cabinet.
