KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government will launch rail services in Nepal within two years.

Speaking at an inaugural event of the 29th National Industrial Goods and Technology Expo today in Kathmandu, PM Oli repeated his commitment to fulfill his ambitions of running a rail-service for commuting and launching a ship to transfer goods within 2076 BS.

Oli said that a lot of fun has been made at the expense of these commitments in the past, but the government will shut all detractors by working on these projects and executing them within two years.

The five-day expo is being organised by the Cottage and Small Industries Development Committee under the slogan, ‘Let’s use home-made products, move ahead towards prosperity'.
