KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala's press advisor Prateek Pradhan has resigned from his post today.

Pradhan told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti that his resignation would be effective from today itself.

In his tweet, Pradhan said the resignation is for 'continuation of ideological freedom' without any explanation.

He was appointed the PM's press advisor on June 5.

Meanwhile, PM Koirala accepted the resignation today itself, according to his press coordinator Prakash Adhikari.
