KATHMANDU: In a special request to the general public, Nepal Police has announced a bounty for the informants, who provide factual tip off to the law enforcement agency. With a view to preventing impending crimes and book the guilty for their involvement in anti-social activities, the incentive has been introduced. The plea comes in the wake of increasing crime rate in the Valley recently.

“We would like to earnestly appeal to all to express solidarity with law enforcement officials by extending genuine information on potential and already occurred crimes to make the city a safer place to live in,” police said in a statement, assuring to protect the identity of informants.
