Police continue crackdown on firecracker traders as Nepal celebrates Dipawali
KATHMANDU: While Nepalis are celebrating the Dipawali to mark the annual Laxmi Puja festival, police have intensified a crackdown on illegal trade of firecrackers in Kathmandu Valley of late.
Just on Saturday, police seized 38 units of firecrackers from Budhanilakantha-4 of Kathmandu.
They were seized from local grocery shops during a routine check, according to police.
