KATHMANDU, MARCH 28

The situation in Tinkune turned volatile after police fired warning shots into the air to disperse pro-monarchy protesters during clashes.

The unrest erupted when demonstrators attempted to breach a restricted area, prompting security forces to intervene and detain several individuals for defying the restrictions.

As the situation intensified, police fired tear gas to disperse the protesters, triggering chaos in the area.

Shortly after the rally was disrupted, a house in Tinkune was set on fire. Protesters vandalized the building before igniting the blaze, further escalating the turmoil.

When a fire truck arrived, protesters pelted it with stones, forcing responders to retreat. Thick smoke engulfed the area as the fire raged unchecked.

The demonstration, which began as a rally, spiraled into violent confrontations, leaving property destroyed and authorities on high alert.
