The President reiterates the need for extensive policy improvements in agriculture to uplift communities below the poverty line.
He highlights the nation's post-political change focus on economic prosperity, development, and peace. Emphasizing justice for the underprivileged and income for the poor, he envisions a prosperous Nepal through the development of agriculture, tourism, water resources, and enterprises. President Paudel stresses the conservation and promotion of disappearing technologies, practices, and indigenous crops.
He advocates for promoting agriculture, animal husbandry, and transferring related skills, knowledge, and technology to the new generation. Referring to Kavrepalanchok as vital for agriculture, dairy, and market-oriented produce, he believes the festival will significantly contribute to expanding agricultural enterprises, generating employment, and boosting income.
President Paudel also calls for the development of more agriculture product markets nationwide, akin to the Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market. He presents the 'President Outstanding Farmer Award' to six farmers from Kavrepalanchok and Sindhupalchok during the event.
