Polish envoy meets VP

KATHMANDU: Non-Residential Polish Ambassador to Nepal Tomasz Lukaszuk called on Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun at the latter’s office on Thursday.

During the meeting, the vice-president extended gratitude to the Polish government for supporting rescue and relief operation in the aftermath of the April 25 earthquake, according to the vice-president’s press coordinator Manoj Gharti.

Pun also recalled that the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was approaching 60 years shortly.

On the occasion, Polish envoy Lukaszuk said the Polish government had welcomed the new constitution of Nepal and reaffirmed that it was ever ready to help Nepal.
