KATHMANDU: Unified CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on Sunday met President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at the letter's office in Shital Niwas. Prachanda, who spent around 40 minutes at the President's office, declined to divulge the details of the meeting to the media.

However, Rajendra Dahal, press advisor to the President, informed that the talks focussed primaraily on the latter's India visit due to start tomorrow. They also exchanged thoughts about the ongoing political development in the country, said Dahal. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Sunday called on the President at the latter's office and briefed about the activities of the ministry, sources said.
