KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh on Sunday said the party's District Treasurers' First National Conference has contributed significantly to bringing about financial transparency within the party.

Speaking to the NC district treasurers during a tea reception held at his residence in Chaksibari, Singh said, "If we seek to make the party stronger, it must be stable financially as well."

On the occasion, State Minister for Industry, Kanchan Chandra Bade said the party had accomplished a historical task by holding the first national conference of its treasurers.
