KATHMANDU, APRIL 29

Air passengers that have to travel during the prohibitory order enforced in Kathmandu valley can avail the services of Prepaid Taxi to and from the Airport, as authorised by Tribhuvan International Airport Civil Aviation Office (TIACAO).

According to the notice issued by Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), air passengers that are in the possession of a valid air ticket/passport/visa can use the TIACO authorised prepaid taxi services operated by Bimansthal Hawai Yatru Yatayat Sewa Byabastha Ltd, vehicles with green number plates and tourist taxis to reach their respective destinations.

Such passengers will also be able to arrange pickup from the city to the airport on a call basis, CAAN added.
