KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari will not cast vote in the local level elections scheduled for May 14.

If the President voted she would favour any one of the political parties despite being a guardian of the Constitution, so she decided not to cast vote in the upcoming elections, said President's press advisor Madhav Sharma.

President Bhandari has been registered as a voter at Chapali-3 of Budhanilakantha Municipality in Kathmandu district.
