KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday held a lunch on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti festival.

Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Ministers, UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress Vice-President Ram Chandra Paudel, among others were present at the luncheon at the Sheetal Niwas today.

Leaders of agitating Madhesi parties including Tarai Madhes Democratic Party Chairman Mahantha Thakur and Sadbhawana Party Co-Chairman Laxman Lal Karna among others were present on the occasion.

According to the national news agency Rastriya Samachar Samiti, the President had invited leaders of all political parties represented in the Parliament with their spouses.
