KATHMANDU: President Dr. Rambaran Yadav along with Home Minister Bhim Rawal and other ministers observed the birthday of Lord Krishna, Krishna Janamasthami, by visiting the Krishan Mandhir in Patan.

The Krishna Asthami is being celebrated throughout the country by performing special rituals, fasting, chanting sermons of Lord Krishna and offering dairy products like milk, butter, yoghurt and rice pudding to Lord Krishna-- the favourites of Lord Krishna.
