KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 11
President Ram Chandra Paudel performed puja at various shrines in the Kathmandu Valley today and received tika and prasad in celebration of the ongoing Bada Dashain festival.
Accompanied by First Lady Sabita Paudel, he visited key temples including Naxal Bhagawati, Guheshwori, Maitidevi, Kalikasthan, Bhadrakali, Naradevi, Raktakali, Indrayani, and Shova Bhagawati.
The President's Secretariat shared this information, noting that the festival is a significant time for worshipping various forms of Goddess Durga.
During Dashain, devotees flock to Durga temples to offer prayers and celebrate.
