Kathmandu, September 27:

President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has called on everyone to work together to build a civilised society.

Addressing the annual school day function of Budhanilkantha School today, the president said discrimination, inequalities and injustice were rife in the past because we could not institutionalise democracy. “Change has taken place. Let us all work together and go for democratic practice,” the president said.

On the occasion, President Yadav inaugurated a Study Resource Centre established by the school. The resource centre, built at a total cost of approximately Rs 30 million, has information technology section, library section, computer section and science lab section for enhancing skills and capacity of students.
