Prime Minister Oli's health improves

KATHMANDU: The Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, releasing a press statement this morning, has affirmed a gradual recovery in Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s health.

PM Oli was admitted to the Centre in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu yesterday, where he underwent an appendicitis surgery.

The surgery took place at a time when the PM Oli has been regularly visiting the hospital for dialysis after his transplanted kidney failed to function properly.

He has undergone four cycles of haemodialysis in Grande International Hospital in the last few weeks.

Earlier, Dr Arun Sayami, the PM’s health adviser involved in the treatment, had informed that PM will have to remain in the hospital for a few days.
