Senior social worker Dr Araju Deuba on Saturday felicitated founder principal of Galaxy Public School Geeta Rana in recognition of her distinguished contributions in the field of education and sports. At the same programme, she gave away certificates to 12 participants of three-month training programme on cutting and sewing conducted jointly by Indigenous Helpless Children Upliftment Association and Cottage and Small Industries Development Board. She referred to the compulsion of many women and children in the rural areas to live a hard life and emphasised the need for all to extend contributions from their respective places to uplift them. —RSS
