Kathmandu, May 31:

An orientation programme on prevention of HIV/AIDS was conducted by the Nepal Red Cross Society-Bhaktapur branch for the members of its district, junior and youth committees.

Discussions were held on promoting safe sex behaviour and implementing effective programmes in schools and communities in the next three years. Bal Mukunda Suwal, central member of the HIV/AIDS Prevention Programme, Krishna Prasad Agrawal, acting chairman of the prevention programme and other members expressed their views at the orientation programme. Altogether 34 people participated in the programme.
