Buddha Anniversary Organising Committee organised a press conference here on Wednesday to inform about programmes to mark the 2546th anniversary of Lord Buddha. At the programme, organisers informed that they have asked the United Nations through the government of Nepal to declare the birth day of Buddha as the ‘World Peace Day’. They noted that 2546th birth day ceremony of Lord Buddha is going to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on May 26 at Ananda Bhumi Bihar.
