KATHMANDU: Police said they received two complaints of theft from Kathmandu and Lalitpur on Thursday and Friday.

Gold ornaments worth Rs 125,000 were stolen from the unattended house of Purna Bahadur Maharjan in Nagaun, Kirtipur-16, Kathmandu on Friday.

In another case, an unidentified gang of thieves barged into The Expert, a designing house, in Sanepa, Lalitpur and made off with three laptops and other goods worth Rs 398,000 on Thursday.

The company was operated by Nabin Thapa.
