KATHMANDU: Valuables worth Rs 20,000 has been destroyed after a house caught fire at Kapurdhara of KMC-29, on Sunday.

Various goods had been destroyed after the rented room of Sunil Jha caught fire due to gas leakage, police said.

Police with the help of locals had doused the fire later.
